CHURCH HISTORY
The Lutherans of Blood Run (now Everett) became the Evangelical Lutheran Church on September 25, 1842. At that time, they shared a church building with Presbyterians.
In 1867, a building committee was appointed to erect a new house of worship. This building was begun on West Main Street in 1868 and finished the following year. The cost of the new building was $7500.00.
In 1903, the church tower was erected, and the entire building was repainted. The nave of the church structure was completely rearranged, with the balcony at the north end removed. The present Felgemaker Tracker Pipe Organ was installed as were a new altar railing, pulpit, lectern, new pews and carpeting.
